Parker Airlines to Sell Food On-Board its Aircraft
Parker Airlines spokesperson, Emily Green told reporters yesterday that as of May 28 the company intends to discontinue free meals for passengers flying by economy class. — [1] —. The company, named the Best Domestic Airline for the past 3 years by air travelers, expects this will save them $10 million a year. — [2] —. While the airline will continue to offer water, coffee, juice and tea for free, it will give passengers the option of buying snack boxes for $7. For breakfast, French toast and cereal will be provided; for lunch, passengers can choose either a hamburger or beef sandwich, with some fruit. For dinner, passengers will have the choice of turkey or pork with rice and salad, with ice cream for dessert.
