Dear Mr. Flores,

I hope this message finds you well. The last time we met, you had asked me to advise you on drafting a retirement plan. Below are just a few tips to get you started.

First, it is vital that you create and maintain a cash reserve for emergency purposes equal to roughly three times your typical monthly expenses. Since this amount could be quite large, it is important to start saving as early as possible.

Additionally, I recommend investigating long-term medical care options upon retiring for you, your spouse, and your parents, and compiling emergency information to share with your family members.

I have attached a special guest pass so that you can attend my lecture, "Retirement for One," at a university event. The same pass also allows you to sit in on a special lunch seminar on health coverage for senior citizens conducted by Mr. Victor Rochester. The events will be free of charge to you if you present the pass at the door.

We are pleased to announce that our Annual Center Information Event will take place on Monday, July 12, on the fifth floor of Durgan Hall. We welcome you to join retirement advisor Wendy Rhodes for her lecture. On Tuesday, July 13, the first of a two-part seminar on part-time employment prospects will be held from 3 to 5 P.M. This will conclude at the same time the following day, on Wednesday, July 14. Lastly, we will also hold a special luncheon presentation by our center director, Mr. Victor Rochester on Thursday, July 15. Entrance for the event is $10 for center members and $15 for the open public.
