Dear Ms. Akimoto,

I am pleased to inform you that you are now authorized to access Laboratory B. Your temporary personal access code is 8541.
When entering the laboratory, hold your badge close to the reader at the main entrance and wait for the yellow light to turn on. Next, enter your personal access code. The yellow light will turn green once you enter the valid code. You will hear a beeping sound if the code is keyed in inaccurately. Bear in mind that you have only three opportunities to enter the correct code. The system will lock you out after three consecutive entries of incorrect codes. We can, however, reset your code anytime. All you have to do is present your employee identification card to our staff.
Please observe safety guidelines while inside the laboratory. If you encounter emergencies or any issues that need immediate response, please call the number printed on the back of your access badge and we will respond to you in a timely manner.
Note that your access code is valid only until two days after the end of your assignment.
