Spray Foam Insulation
Spray foam insulation is the highest-priced type of home insulation, but it also forms the strongest barrier against heat and cold. Our customers have told us that their home energy bills dropped 50% or more after its installation. The foam comes in two types: open cell and closed cell. Open cell foam is less expensive and better at filling hard-to-reach corners, while closed cell foam provides more protection against extreme temperatures. In Mattin County, both types must be applied by a licensed expert, though a city permit for the work is only required in Vorvett. The application process rarely takes more than a day.

Work Information
GWI Insulation installed open-cell insulation foam in the attic of the house located at 450 Brewer Street, Yorvett, at the request of its owner, Albert Mackie.
Coverage
GWI Insulation will provide labor and goods at no charge to repair any problems with the insulation that arise from defective products or work performed incorrectly at the time of installation.
This warranty is valid throughout the life of the structure and can be transferred along with the ownership of the structure.
Exclusions
GWI Insulation will not be held responsible for problems with insulation in the following cases:
1. It or the surrounding area has been altered or replaced by the homeowner or another company.
2. It has been damaged by extreme wind, rain, or other natural occurrences.
3. The surface to which it has been attached is damaged by the collapse or shifting of the structure's foundation or walls.
4. The surface to which it has been attached is suffering from mildew, mold, or natural aging.

Dear Mr. Mackie,
We at GWI Insulation were sorry to learn that you will need to replace some of the beams and boards in your attic because of mold issues. Unfortunately, this situation is one of those explicitly excluded from your warranty, so we would need to charge you for any work that we do on your attic insulation. I have attached a scan of our copy of the warranty for your reference.
Please let us know if you would like to hire us to repair or replace your installation. While the work would not be free, we could still offer you a good price.
