I am also writing to request your support against a proposal by the National Parkland Administration to out the funding to our Ark Project. The Ark Project, as you know, was founded to create and maintain copies of every plant in the country to help protect and preserve our botanical heritage. This proposed drop in financial support could result in the closure of our Ark Center.
You will find a petition form online at www.nbgsociety.com/petition, but you are also encouraged to contact your congressperson directly to raise your voice against this policy change. We firmly believe the work we do concerns everyone.
