We are pleased to announce that the annual sculpture competition returns this year, featuring entries from both local and international artists. Running as an exhibition from September 19 to November 1, Tuesday through Sunday, the event is open to the public and everyone is invited to come and view this year’s pieces. The winner will be announced on the final day of the exhibition at 7 P.M. with the gallery’s owner, Regina Entwhistle, presenting the $10,000 prize to the winner at a special reception.
The entries will be on display in the main hall for the duration of the competition, after which the gallery will close for about two weeks, marking the end of the third session. According to one tourist’s account, “The Sea Lion Caves provide an opportunity to truly see how these animals act in their natural habitat. I found it mesmerizing.” The caves, which have been receiving visitors for more than five decades, are entered via use of an elevator underground.
-[1]- Located near the coastal town of Florence, the caves are easily accessible from the main highway and feature many signs offering wildlife information, making this an ideal destination for the whole family during the school holidays. -[2]- Visitors should book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, as the caves can become quite crowded during peak tourist seasons. Jackets are advisable because the temperature drops considerably underground. I would also suggest arriving in the morning, as the sea lions are often at their most active during this time.

Dynamix Chemicals Continues Climb to Prominence

The Portland Gazette The Boniface Experience Tour Announcement Delights Fans

November 24——of The Boniface Experience were left crushed five years ago when the band took a break from the music industry due to what was termed “a conflict between band members.” Last night, the same fans were celebrating following a press conference hosted by UNG Productions, in which the band announced that it would be re-forming to produce a new album. It will also embark on a European tour early next year. Lead guitarist Peter Turquoise also confirmed that “all problems within the band have been resolved.” It is rumored that the source of the conflict was a disagreement over the future direction of the band between Turquoise and drummer Andre Symonds. But with Symonds having left the music industry three months ago to pursue an acting career, the remaining members now feel that they are in a position to work together once again. Turquoise went on to say that a new member will join the group. Ryan Nelsen is to assume Symond’s role as drummer.
The Boniface Experience is a five-piece rock and roll band that originally formed in 2001 in Austin, Texas. These artists have come a long way since playing in small venues to pay off their college debts. After being recommended by talent scout Peter Wisdon and signing to the record label Lilypad. Records, they went on to enjoy huge success both at home and abroad, racking up five number one albums in the U.S. and three in the U.K. Fans are now hoping that the band can enjoy similar success following its return to the music scene. As a long-time fan myself, I am particularly looking forward to seeing these artists in action on January 23.

Subject: Inaccurate product review
Dear Ms. Weld,
I am an avid reader of your Web site, and usually I trust your assessment of the quality of products. However, I was very disappointed with your most recent review about the PowerQ Wireless Router.
The instructions included with the router do not include a few necessary steps at the beginning. An electronic expert would know what to do, but the average consumer might not, and it could affect whether or not they set up their router properly. Therefore, customers are being misled with the “very good” rating. I think the product should have been rated lower in this area.
I don’t expect you to change your review entirely, but I suggest that you modify it by inserting a few sentences explaining about the instructions. This way, consumers will be warned in advance.

The Brimstone has been a main feature in the Palm Springs community for thirty years. We have a reputation for excellent food and even better customer service. We are currently in need of a new server to join our team at The Brimstone. If you are a friendly and outgoing person with exceptional people skills then we want to hear from you! Previous experience working as a sever is desirable, but not a necessity. We will train the right candidate. You must be sixteen years of age or older and be willing to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts during the week and on weekends. As you know, your first day of work will be Saturday, October 25. For your reference, I have attached the first page of the employee manual for you to familiarize yourself with before you start. More detailed information regarding the specific roles and responsibilities will be explained to you during your training after you’ve started. You will shadow a different employee for every shift during your first week, but the person in charge for your first shift on the 25th will be Sam McCormick. He will guide you through your first lunch service.

Employee Manual
1. WORKING HOURS
Breakfast shifts are from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Lunch shifts are from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Dinner shifts are from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Night shifts are from 6:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M.
2. ATTENDANCE POLICY
All time off must be requested and approved by a manager, in writing, in advance. If employees cannot make their scheduled shifts, it is their responsibility to find a replacement from our employees.
3. DRESS CODE
The standard clothing for all servers at The Brimstone restaurant is a pair of running shoes, black pants (or a skirt), and a red top with The Brimstone’s logo printed on it.
