I recently overheard a volunteer guide giving incorrect information -135- a tour of our exhibits. Please do not do this. I understand that it may be embarrassing to be asked a question that you can't answer. -136-, the correct response in that situation is to direct the visitor to our educational staff. -137-. It's also wise to learn the answer yourself to prevent the problem from recurring. I wanted to spell this policy out to all of you, as it's not clear -138- the incident I witnessed was a one-time mistake or part of a widespread problem.
