Musical acts wanted!
Live music is a vital part of the Loceto Pumpkin Fair. And while we book a few major acts each year by reaching out to their agents, we like to reserve most of the spots for smaller, up-and-coming acts. If you play family-friendly pop, rock, or R&B music, this could be your chance to perform in front of an audience of hundreds or even thousands. To apply, please submit a short artist/band biography (50-100 words) and two video files of your act to [email protected]. We do not accept audio files, and we recommend that the videos show you performing in front of an audience. The deadline for these submissions is 5 p.m. on July 31. Selected acts based in Loceto County may then be asked to audition in person. We will make our final decisions by the end of August.

One of the bands scheduled to perform at the Loceto Pumpkin Fair on October 19 has dropped out unexpectedly, and we would like to offer your band the chance to take its place. As I mentioned in my earlier e-mail, the other members of the music committee and I were very impressed by the Hairpins’ audition and were sorry that we were initially unable to offer you a spot. You're the first act we're contacting about this opening.
You would play a 40-minute set starting at 4:30 P.M, and the pay is $300. We understand that the Hairpins may have found another engagement that day, so please discuss our offer with your bandmates and let us know what you decide. We need to hear from you by the end of the day tomorrow.
