We understand that your productivity relies, in part, on how comfortable you are about your child’s welfare while you are at work. TechCom is pleased to announce an on-site daycare center, opening in July. Although we will be subsidizing the operating costs of the center, there will still be a small fee expected from parents.

TechCom’s childcare will be managed by Sylvia Johnston, who is a certified teacher and has a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Johnston has taught third grade for 6 years, after which she successfully managed Play House Daycare for 7 years. There is a large grassy area between TechCom’s building and the south parking lot which will be fenced in and installed with playground equipment. Indoors, children will have an array of toys and games: building blocks, books, board games, art supplies, work benches and much more. In addition, we will be offering special activities. Refer to the attached schedule for times and costs. As well as full-day care, we will offer after-school care with certified teachers available to help with homework.

Due to the lack of children, Music class has been canceled. Tuition is discounted for families enrolling multiple children. A luncheon for interested parents will be catered, June 5, at the daycare site. This will be your opportunity to meet the daycare director.
