Dear Mr. Wakefield,
I am writing to tell you that we were really impressed with the stunning photographs of the Dutch tulip fields that you recently submitted to our magazine. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to our publication. My co-editor and I both agreed that your pictures are exactly what we are looking for, and we would very much like to use one of them on the front cover of our June edition. Please find enclosed an example of the proposed layout for next month's issue. I have enclosed a photo release form with this letter. Please fill it out and return it to us to provide an official record of your permission.
Since starting to include submissions from avid readers such as yourself last year, we have experienced a 30% boom in subscription rates, meaning that we are distributing more copies of Southern Flowers than ever before. As part of our aim to become one of the leading recreational gardening publications, we have decided to help finance the 5th Annual Atlanta Flower Festival this summer in order to publicize both the event and our own publication. To show our appreciation to our loyal readers, all subscribers will be entitled to a 50% discount on entry passes to the festival. Details about the offer will be provided at a later date.
Thank you once again for your submission, and I hope to hear from you soon regarding the front cover.
