Question 1-5:

From: Kathryn Perez
To: All department managers
Subject: Leadership Training Courses and Seminars
Date: August 11

Annually, all the department managers here at Boardex Inc. are required to attend a series of training courses and seminars for them to attain proficiency in directing their responsible groups. This year, we have invited renowned speakers from outside our company. Attendance of two or more sessions is mandatory for all managers, and those who fail to follow through will have to be present at a make-up session on August 30. A feedback form is attached to this mail that you need to complete and turn in to Kevin Jacobs at the end of all sessions.
Additionally, enclosed is the complete schedule of all sessions in this e-mail. Please consult the information and I hope that this session will be informative and helpful for your management. See you that day.

Leadership Training Feedback Form

Name: Dane Green

Sessions attended:
✓ Critical Thinking
___Situational Leadership
✓ Collaborative Leadership
___Leadership for Women

Which session did you find the most helpful? Why?
Not only the critical thinking was the most effective of all sessions but it was also very entertaining as the speaker allowed me to think out of the box with the lateral thinking questions listed on the sheet he gave us. This session was especially helpful for me since creative thinking is an essential skill in advertising/ and I also learned about new ways to approach problems that may occur in my department.

How could the courses be improved?
It was mentioned in the schedule that we may be let go just a bit past the scheduled time/ but the session on August 19 ended fifteen minutes late. I ended up showing up late at a meeting I scheduled for 2:20. If the speaker does not exceed their given time, it would be much more helpful.
